1968 Dodge Dart

• The car wears GTS badges on the hood and decklid, but the dash VIN plate the seller photographs reads LH23 with a D engine code — a Dart 270 hardtop born with a 273, not an LS23 GTS; whatever it is worth, it is worth it as a tribute, not a GTS.
• Red paint is glossy and the panels photograph straight, with a black vinyl top, black bumblebee stripe and bright chrome; steel wheels wear BFGoodrich Radial T/As.
• White interior is restored in stock style, with a Hurst automatic shifter and a column-mounted tach.
• Engine bay is body-colour and holds a turquoise small-block under a Magnum pie-tin air cleaner — a later engine in 340 dress, which the photographed VIN says the car was not born with.
• The underside is never photographed in the 16 viewed, so the floors can't be judged.
• The gallery's final four frames are other Mopars in the dealer's stock (a green '70 Coronet convertible, a black '69 Charger, a purple '71 Challenger convertible and a blue '69 Coronet R/T), appended at the end of the gallery.
