About this car
1970 Chevrolet Impala at GR Auto Gallery in Commerce Township, MI, $26,900. Red over Black, 46,825 miles, Automatic
What the photos show
- Red '70 Impala Custom coupe with a white vinyl roof at GR Auto Gallery Metro Detroit; paint is glossy and the body looks straight, chrome bright.
- Three GR ruler close-ups document small paint chips — one on a flat panel and a small cluster at the base of the rear window trim by the vinyl roof, the spot worth probing for rust under the vinyl.
- The '350' fender badge is photographed, but the engine bay is never opened in the 16 viewed, so the badge is the only engine evidence.
- Black interior is covered in depth and looks excellent — seats, door cards and carpets all clean and correct-looking.
- Underside is never photographed; one rear shot shows the car on a lift from behind, not underneath.
- Trunk is never shown.
Money: at $26,900 the car photographs as a clean, honest coupe; the money checks are under the vinyl roof at that chipped rear-window corner and the unphotographed underside and bay.
