1971 Chevrolet Corvette

• Red paint is glossy and even over the chrome-bumper C3 body, with a luggage rack on the rear deck and Rally wheels wearing Goodyear Eagle GT II tyres — a period look, though that tyre model dates the rubber, so check the date codes.
• Engine bay shows the base 350 (the console plate photographs its 270 hp spec) with a chrome air cleaner and tidy, stock presentation.
• Red-on-red interior photographs bright: seats look plump and un-split, carpets are deep red and clean, and the automatic console and gauges present as original.
• Door photo shows the weatherstrip at the top of the door aged and separating — a small, cheap fix, but it dates the rubber seals generally.
• Rear storage compartments photograph with their original labels partly worn away — consistent with an honest, unrestored-in-detail cabin.
• Underside doesn't appear in the 16 viewed — no lift photo, so the frame and birdcage can't be judged from this sample.

Money: at $49,995 a base-motor automatic '71 needs to be truly sharp, and the photos mostly say it is — the remaining money checks are tyre age, the frame/birdcage on a lift, and the engine stamp against the VIN.
