About this car
1973 Chevrolet Corvette at GR Auto Gallery in Commerce Township, MI, $18,900. Orange over Maroon, 89,590 miles, 4-Speed Manual
What the photos show
- Bright orange paint is glossy and even and the fibreglass panels look straight; the slot mags and Cooper Cobra tyres present well, and the seller's ruler shots at the arch and door gap show no drama beyond measurements.
- Oxblood interior is honest and tidy: seats show real creasing on the driver's base but no splits, door cards and dash are clean, and there's a manual shifter in the console.
- Engine bay is a dressed driver setup — orange small-block with Edelbrock covers and an aftermarket distributor — tidy enough, not stock.
- The convertible top is never shown raised in the 16 viewed, so its fabric, frame and rear window can't be judged at all — on a '73 roadster that's a must-see before money moves.
- Underside can't be judged — it doesn't appear in the 16 viewed, and the C3 frame and birdcage are the rust money.
Money: at $18,900 the orange roadster photographs as a sharp driver — the ask stands if the unseen top is good and the frame checks out; both are inspection items, not photo items.
