About this car
1976 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray at GR Auto Gallery in Grand Rapids, MI, $14,900. Dark Green over Green, 5,793 miles, Automatic
What the photos show
- Body and paint: the dark green metallic looks deep and glossy around the car; the seller's ruler close-ups document light scratches across the rear deck and small chips on the nose — cosmetic, but photographed honestly.
- Wheels and trim: gold-centre alloys with Goodyear Eagle GT tyres, bright rocker trim, and the pop-up headlamps are photographed raised and lit.
- Interior: the green leather cabin with wood door inserts looks rich and largely intact — the driver's seat shows surface shine and light creasing, the door pull strap is worn, and there's rust staining at one door-card base.
- Engine bay: not photographed in the 16 viewed, so the engine's condition can't be judged from this set.
- Underside: not photographed in the 16 viewed either, so frame and birdcage condition stay unseen.
Money: at $14,900 a green-on-green '76 with this interior photographs a cut above the usual malaise C3 — the price holds if the unseen frame and birdcage are as clean as the cabin.
