About this car
1990 Lincoln Mark VII at GR Auto Gallery in Grand Rapids, MI, $13,400. Garnet Red over Red, 70,301 miles, Automatic
What the photos show
- Body and paint: the magenta-red finish looks deep, glossy and straight all round in the showroom set, and the seller's tape-and-ruler close-ups document only small chips at panel edges — no big flaws are shown.
- Chrome and trim: the bumpers, waterfall grille and lamp lenses photograph bright and clear, and the mesh-style alloy wheels look clean.
- Interior: never photographed in the 16 viewed — the cabin shows only through the glass — so its condition can't be judged from this set.
- Engine bay: not photographed in the 16 viewed, so the 5.0's condition can't be judged from this set.
- Underside: not photographed in the 16 viewed either — and on a Mark VII the air suspension's health is the question photos can't answer anyway.
Money: at $13,400 the exterior photographs like a well-kept Mark VII — fair money if the unseen cabin, bay and air suspension match, and those three are exactly what to check before paying.
