1993 Chevrolet Corvette 40th Anniversary

• Gallery warning: six of the 18 frames are other cars (a black SSR, a maroon C6 Corvette and a red Camaro convertible, each twice) — the C4's own coverage is about eleven frames.
• In its own shots the maroon metallic paint is glossy and the panels look straight, sawblade wheels clean.
• Matching maroon interior: the driver's seat shows heavy creasing and wrinkling on the bolster in the open-door shot, the wheel rim is worn shiny, and the carpets look grubby at the edges — a used cabin, honestly shown.
• Engine bay is complete and stock-looking but dusty and undetailed, with the usual C4 grime around the accessories.
• Two low underside shots show dark floor pans in shadow — too dark to judge their real condition, so the underside effectively can't be judged from these.

Money: at $17,900 this '93 asks tidy-C4 money for a car whose own photos show a worn driver's seat and a dusty bay — fair only after a proper look underneath and a cold start; the filler frames don't help its case.
