Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 27th year in the classic and muscle car business. This one is special. This exquisite 1957 Corvette was once the centerpiece of legendary collector Dr. Jack Frost's collection. If the name sounds familiar, it's because he was known for owning stunners like the 1969 L88 roadster he bought new, and then kept! This NCRS Top Flight Award winner (95.1 points!) was acquired by Dr. Frost from the original owner on March 13, 1966 and driven approximately 1000 miles over the next 23 years. When purchased by the doctor's son in 1989 he stated that after servicing the car for a day, he drove it 400 miles to Indianapolis from Iowa! Lift the hood of this top-shelf investment grade classic and you'll see the #'s matching (EC F724EH, BCN 3731548) dual 4bbl 283 |

About this car
1957 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible listed on eBay in Fredericksburg, Texas. Listing shows 6,153 miles, Manual transmission, Venetian Red exterior. Asking price $125,000 on eBay.
What the photos show
- Red paint is glossy with ivory coves; chrome and the wide whitewalls are clean, and the matching red hardtop is shown fitted in one view.
- Red interior looks very good — seats and dash tidy — though the seat-back tops show light scuffing where the top frame sits; the odometer reads 61,535.
- Trunk is clean in red carpet; the decklid's underside edge shows paint chips and scratches in its close-up.
- No engine-bay photo in the 16 viewed, and only a shadowed glimpse of the underbody from behind — can't judge either properly.
Money: the visible car supports the $125,000 ask; the engine bay remains the must-see on a '57 and it isn't in this sample.
