About this car
1962 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible listed on eBay in Charlotte, North Carolina. Listing shows 25 miles, Manual transmission, Black exterior. Asking price $280,399 on eBay.
What the photos show
- Black paint is mirror-glossy and even in every studio angle, chrome tooth grille and bumpers bright, panel fit tight — no paint or chrome budget from these photos.
- Both tops are photographed fitted: the black hardtop matches the body's gloss, and the black soft top looks taut and smooth with a clear rear window — no top budget from these photos.
- Polished wheels are unmarked and the tires look fresh — no wheel or tire spend.
- The interior gets one close-up — red dash, wheel and gauges look fresh and crisp — but the seats never get a clear photo, so upholstery wear can't be judged.
- No engine-bay photo in the 16 viewed — the engine can't be judged from this sample.
- No underside photos in the 16 viewed — the frame can't be judged.
Money: at $280,399 the paint, chrome and both tops look the money; engine bay, underside and the seats themselves are unseen in the photos viewed.
