What the photos show
- From ten feet this black '63 Imperial convertible looks mirror-glossy โ but the seller's own macro close-ups tell the real story: the paint is heavily checked and crazed across the panels, with a scuffed rear wheel-arch lip and speckled pitting on the door.
- Chrome bumpers, grille and the faux-spare decklid ring look bright; whitewall tyres and full covers are in place.
- The odometer close-up is partly obscured โ 84,379 is legible in the window.
- Cream interior looks presentable from the dash photos, but the dash pad is split at the defroster-vent corner and the top's headliner shows water-mark staining in the final frames.
- Trunk is carpeted with wear and staining at the wheelhouse; the one underside photo shows surface-rusty leaf springs and hardware โ an unrestored underside under a shiny top side.
- Engine bay can't be judged โ the hood never opens in any of the 16 frames.
Money: at $49,900 budget a full repaint on top of the price โ the checked, crazed paint in the seller's own close-ups is the car, the glossy wide shots are the lighting.
