What the photos show
- Caution on the pictures themselves: the glossy hero shots are composited — the car pasted into a virtual showroom — and two frames are screenshots of other Valiants' sale listings; judge this car only by the real outdoor photos in the set.
- Body and paint: in the genuine photos the red finish looks duller and older than the renders suggest, with blemishes along the flanks — presentable driver paint, not show paint.
- Top: the top is photographed raised from inside with a clean-looking headliner, and folded under a worn, faded boot cover outdoors.
- Interior: the red vinyl seats look good, but the carpets are dirty and worn in the real photos and the trunk mat is cracked with age.
- Engine bay: the slant six is photographed honestly — complete and original-looking, with surface rust on the manifolds and years of grime rather than detailing.
- Underside: never photographed, so the unit-body floors can't be judged from this set.
Money: at $13,999 a Signet convertible driver is plausible money — but price the real car in the outdoor photos, not the rendered one, and don't let the seller's screenshots of $25k–$33k sales set your number.
