About this car
1966 Chevrolet Corvette listed on eBay in Round Lake, Illinois. Listing shows Manual transmission, Mosport Green exterior. Asking price $171,998 on eBay.
What the photos show
- Pale sage-green paint is glossy and even in the studio set — the same Volo car and photo set as the dealer listing — with bright chrome and tight panel fit throughout.
- Knock-off-style finned wheels with whitewalls keep the stock '66 look; the badging and lamps in close-up all look fresh.
- Dark green interior shows clean seats, door cards and headliner in the sampled frames; the odometer in the cluster close-ups reads 68,139.
- Engine bay doesn't appear in the 16 viewed — can't judge the motor or its presentation.
- Underside doesn't appear in this 16 either (the dealer listing's sample includes one) — from this set alone, the chassis can't be judged.
- Three of the 16 frames are dealer adverts, not photos of the car.
Money: at $171,998 the visible car is a show-quality stock restoration; the engine bay and underside are missing from this sample, so judge this listing by the dealer set's fuller photos and verify the numbers before paying.
