About this car
1966 Chevrolet Corvette listed on eBay in Bettendorf, Iowa. Listing shows 65 miles, Manual transmission, Black exterior. Asking price $239,995 on eBay.
What the photos show
- A black C2 restomod with a red stinger stripe: the paint is flawless and mirror-deep in the turntable set, panel fit is exact, and the removable hardtop is photographed standing behind the car.
- Interior is a new red leather cabin with modern gauges — the digital odometer reads 000069, so 69 miles showing — plus machined switchgear and a chrome-ball shifter, all photographed in macro and all unmarked.
- Red calipers show behind the polished multi-spoke wheels; the soft top itself is only seen folded under its boot, so top condition can't be judged beyond the hardtop's clean paint.
- Engine bay can't be judged — it doesn't appear in the 16 viewed, and on a restomod C2 the engine and chassis are the price.
- Underside can't be judged — it doesn't appear in the 16 viewed.
Money: at $239,995 the finish is everything the photos show — flawless paint, fresh cabin, 69 miles on the clock — so the negotiation is purely about the unseen drivetrain and chassis spec; get the build file before the number hardens.
