About this car
1966 Chevrolet Corvette listed on eBay in Walled Lake, Michigan. Listing shows 655 miles, Manual transmission, Nassau Blue exterior. Asking price $169,900 on eBay.
What the photos show
- Nassau-blue paint is glossy and even — the same GR Auto Gallery car and photo set as the dealer listing — photographed with its colour-matched hardtop on, chrome bright and panels straight.
- Knock-off-style wheels with goldline tyres keep the stock '66 look; the Sting Ray badges in close-up look fresh.
- White interior is documented in detail here: seats, door cards and blue carpets all look clean and bright, with no wear showing in the close-ups.
- The trim and VIN plate under the dash is photographed — the plate to check against the paperwork in person.
- The soft top is never shown — the hardtop is fitted in every frame — so the folding top's condition can't be judged.
- Engine bay and underside don't appear in the 16 viewed — can't judge the motor or the frame from this set.
Money: at $169,900 the paint and white cabin justify a serious look; the engine, frame and soft top stay unverified in this sample, and those are the three items that settle a C2's real value.
