1967 Chevrolet Corvette

• Rally-red paint is glossy over straight panels, with a white stinger hood, side exhausts and the colour-matched hardtop fitted in the outdoor shots; chrome and knock-off-style wheels look clean.
• Red leather interior is bright and tidy — seats, carpets and dash all look well kept; the odometer in the cluster close-up reads 50,189.
• Engine bay is shown from above: an orange big-block with a large four-barrel carb photographed separately in close-up, presented honestly rather than detailed to show standard.
• The seller photographs the numbers: the trim/VIN plate and block casting close-ups (including the 'HI PERF' casting mark) are all in the gallery for a buyer to decode — the right kind of evidence at this money, though it still needs verifying in person.
• Underside doesn't appear in the 16 viewed — can't judge the frame or birdcage, the C2 checks that matter most.
• The soft top is never shown raised or lowered — the hardtop does the posing — so its condition can't be judged.

Money: at $165,000 the car presents as a documented, honest 427-era convertible and the seller shows the numbers unprompted; the unseen frame and soft top are the remaining spend-risk to close out.
