About this car
1967 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible listed on eBay in North Chicago, Illinois. Listing shows 34,706 miles, Automatic transmission, Red exterior. Asking price $191,500 on eBay.
What the photos show
- Rally Red paint is glossy across every panel in the 16 viewed — these are showroom snapshots rather than studio shots, and the finish still reads deep and even.
- Black stinger hood stripe is crisp; chrome bumpers and side-pipe covers are bright with no pitting visible at this distance.
- Red interior shows through the windshield and over the doors: seats look plump and uncreased, dash tidy — but there is no close-up cabin shot, so wear can't be judged properly.
- The underside IS photographed: floors are painted grey and look solid, though there is honest grime and light oil staining around the transmission pan rather than fresh detailing.
- Knock-off style wheels wear redline tyres that look fresh all round.
- The soft top is down in every frame — no photo shows it raised, so top fabric and rear window can't be judged at all.
- No engine bay photo appears in the 16 viewed — the hood stays shut throughout this sample.
Money: paint and chrome support the $191,500 ask and the underside looks honestly solid — but the unphotographed engine bay and never-raised top are real gaps to close before paying it.
