1968 Dodge Coronet

• This is a full project: the body sits in weathered grey primer with surface rust breaking through at the front valance, lower panels and panel edges, and the hood's front edge is bent upward.
• The trunk lid resting on the rear deck is heavily rusted, and the black convertible top is torn and holed around the rear window — a new top is a given.
• Interior is stripped and tired: carpets out, bare floorpans show heavy surface rust, seats are present but aged, and the rear trim panels are missing or hanging loose.
• Engine bay shows a partially dismantled V8 — valve covers and ancillaries off, wiring loose — so the engine's state can't be judged beyond 'apart and not running in these photos'.
• Lift photos show the underside honestly: widespread surface rust on floors, rails and exhaust, with the rear axle and suspension all present.
• Fender tag and engine stampings are photographed (numbers not reproduced here) — the paperwork trail for verifying what the car started life as is at least partly in the gallery.

Money: at $54,500 you are buying a rare R/T convertible shell and its tags, not a car — budget a full restoration on top, and verify the stampings against the tag before paying project money for pedigree.
