What the photos show
- From a distance the white paint looks presentable and the panels straight, with side pipes, a black soft top that looks taut, and wire-style covers over redline tyres.
- The final four photos are close-ups, and they change the story: the paint is crazed with fine spider-web cracking across the panels, with cracked and flaking patches, a stress crack, and one chip that has started to rust.
- That is failing paint, not patina — a full strip and respray is the realistic fix, and on a C3 that's a five-figure job done right.
- Interior is only glimpsed (black seats through the open window) and can't be judged properly.
- Engine bay: can't judge — no engine photo in the 16 viewed.
- Underside: can't judge — no underbody photo in the 16 viewed.
Money: at $100,000 the wide shots flatter it; the seller's own close-ups show paint that needs stripping back and redoing, so price it as a car with a repaint bill attached, not as a finished C3.
