About this car
1972 Plymouth Duster listed on eBay in Rincon, Georgia. Listing shows 35,000 miles, Blue exterior. Asking price $11,500 on eBay.
What the photos show
- Only eight photos make up the whole set — enough to see the shape of the project, not its depths.
- Body and paint: the blue finish is faded and chalky across the roof, bonnet and deck, and rust shows at the bottom of the open door — a car that has lived outside.
- Interior: the headliner is gone entirely, with rust staining the exposed roof structure, while the seats look retrimmed in black and the dash carries add-on gauges and loose wiring under it.
- Engine bay: a small-block V8 with a chrome air cleaner and an aluminium radiator sits in a grimy, original bay — a swap or upgrade the photos show but don't document.
- Underside: never photographed, so the floors and rails — the Duster's usual rust story — can't be judged from this set.
Money: at $11,500 the ask leans on the V8; the photographed roof rust and dead paint say project, so the price only works after the floors and rails pass an in-person check.
