About this car
1978 Chevrolet Corvette listed on eBay in Round Lake, Illinois. Listing shows 21 miles, Turbo 350 Auto transmission, Black exterior. Asking price $56,998 on eBay.
What the photos show
- The same black-and-silver '78 Corvette Pace Car as the dealer's own listing at the same price — same photo set; this sample adds full side and front views: glossy two-tone paint, pace-car door decals, red pinstripes and Goodyear GT Radial tyres on the alloy wheels.
- The silver interior is photographed in depth and presents as original and fresh, with the '25th Anniversary Limited Edition' console plaque; footwell carpets show the same grubby staining as in the twin listing.
- The door-jamb build sticker is photographed again but remains illegible at this size, and no odometer reading is legible in this sample.
- The engine bay is never photographed and the underside is never photographed in either listing.
Money: at $56,998, across two listings of the same car, there is still no engine-bay or underside photo — Pace Car money is paperwork money, so verify the mileage documents and the VIN before paying.
