Introduced in 1962, the Pontiac Grand Prix quickly established itself as a performance-oriented luxury coupe, blending full-size comfort with unmistakable Pontiac muscle. By 1967, the Grand Prix had evolved into one of the most refined personal luxury cars of the era, and for that model year Pontiac offered a convertible body style for one year only, making the 1967 Grand Prix convertible a true standalone chapter in the model's history and among the most sought-after examples today. This extraordinary Grand Prix was built and delivered new in July 1967 as a very late-production, special equipment factory order, a distinction that immediately sets it apart.
