About this car
1960 Chevrolet Impala at Volo Auto Museum Sales in Volo Village Rd. Volo, IL, $105,998. Red over Black & White Houndstooth, 4L60 Overdrive Automatic
What the photos show
- Red paint is deep and glossy with straight panels and bright chrome; the car sits lowered on modern polished wheels — a restomod, not a stocker.
- Engine bay is painted body-colour and houses a modern fuel-injected V8 with 'Chevrolet' coil covers, aluminium radiator and tidy plumbing — clean and show-finished.
- Interior is black-and-white houndstooth and looks fresh front and rear; a Sunpro tach and auxiliary gauges are added under the dash, and the final close-up shows 96,206 on the odometer.
- The VIN plate is photographed in the gallery — check it against the title in person (number not quoted here).
- Underside: can't judge — no underbody photo in the 16 viewed.
Money: the $105,998 ask is supported by the paint, the modern drivetrain presentation and the fresh interior; the unseen underside is the last check before this money makes sense.
