About this car
1961 Chevrolet Impala at Streetside Classics in Charlotte, NC, $118,995. Midnight Blue over Medium Blue Transmission Spec T10 Rear Axle, 59,352 miles, 4 Speed Manual
What the photos show
- Blue paint with the white spear is glossy and straight, the extensive chrome is bright, and it sits on whitewalls — the bubbletop glass is clean all round.
- Interior is photographed in depth: two-tone blue benches front and rear look fresh, door cards are tidy, and the dash carries an added column tach.
- Engine bay appears in the final frames: an orange V8 with a factory-style black air cleaner in a clean body-colour bay — tidy and stock-looking.
- Underside doesn't appear in the 16 viewed — can't judge the X-frame or floors, the structural check on a '61.
Money: at $118,995 the paint, cabin and bay photograph like a finished restoration; the underside is the one view missing, and it's the one that matters on an X-frame car.
