About this car
1979 Jeep CJ7 at Streetside Classics in Charlotte, NC, $47,995. Firecracker Red over None, 77,950 miles, 3 Speed Manual
What the photos show
- Red paint with the Renegade stripe kit reads glossy and even across the Streetside Charlotte set; white steel wheels with BFGoodrich All-Terrain tyres, spare on the rear carrier.
- Tan interior is shown in depth and looks freshly trimmed throughout — buckets, rear bench and door cards all crisp; the speedometer close-up shows just under 80,000 miles.
- Engine bay gets one photo: the V8 looks original and unrestored, with surface corrosion on the valve covers and intake — a step behind the restored body and cabin.
- No top is shown fitted in any frame — what weather equipment comes with it can't be judged from the photos.
- Underside can't be judged — there is no lift or underbody photo in the sample, and on a CJ the frame and tub mounts are the whole game.
Money: at $47,995 the top side photographs restored; the original, corroded bay and the unseen frame say check underneath before paying restored money for a CJ.
