1982 Jeep CJ 5

• Body and paint: the white tub looks freshly and evenly painted with blue Renegade stripes, painted floors and a clean bed area; the seller's ruler close-ups find only a small paint crack at one seam and minor chips.
• Wheels and tyres: white steel wheels with deep-tread mud tyres that look fresh in the photos.
• Interior: the black vinyl seats look new, the painted dash and floor present tidy, and the photos show a roll bar fitted; one front indicator lens is clouded with age while the rear lamp has been replaced with an LED unit.
• Top: no top of any kind is shown in the 16 photos — the Jeep is photographed fully open, so whether a soft top and doors are included can't be told from this set.
• Engine bay: not photographed in the 16 viewed, so the engine's condition can't be judged from this set.
• Underside: not photographed in the 16 viewed either — on a CJ the frame is the whole question, and it stays unseen.

Money: at $14,900 the tub and trim photograph freshly restored — fair for a pretty CJ driver, provided the unseen frame is as good as the paint and the top situation is settled before money moves.
