Classic Car Addict is proud to present this 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS for sale in our Mesa, Arizona showroom. In a December 17th, 1960, press release, Chevrolet introduced the Impala SS option to the market. The SS badge was to become Chevy's signature of performance on many models. The '64 Impala was intended to be the most elegant, graceful automobile in its price range. The car was finished from the factory in Daytona Blue (WW) and was reportedly repainted under prior ownership. Daytona Blue was one of the most desirable and iconic colors for 1964. Exterior features include chrome bumpers and trim, metal side moldings, quad headlights, and "409" fender badging as well as "SS" badging. |

What the photos show
- Deep blue paint is mirror-glossy and the panels photograph laser-straight in professional showroom photos; chrome, side trim and glass all present bright.
- The front fender carries the 409 crossed-flags badge, and the bay shows a dressed big-block presentation: twin Edelbrock 4-barrels under mesh air cleaners and red Offenhauser rocker covers, with a clean painted firewall — no cowl tag or engine pad is photographed, so the photos alone can't prove a genuine 409.
- Blue vinyl bucket interior looks near-new — seats, door cards and carpets spotless, a 4-speed manual with a white-knob shifter and a column-mounted tach.
- The underside is never photographed in the 16 viewed and the odometer is not legible, so neither can be judged.
Money: at $3,500 the price cannot belong to the car in these photos — a show-quality '64 hardtop photographs as many times that; treat the listing as mispriced or suspect and verify car, title and seller in person before sending a cent.
