About this car
1972 Buick Skylark listed on eBay in Lancaster, South Carolina. Listing shows 79,445 miles, Yellow exterior. Asking price $31,400 on eBay.
What the photos show
- Yellow-green paint is glossy with GS badges and Skylark scripts — as with every '72, the VIN's engine code is what proves a genuine GS, and it isn't photographed.
- Tan interior is tidy and the trunk is clean with a covered spare; the original 1972 Buick owner's literature is photographed with the car.
- Engine bay is photographed only from a distance with the hood up — a Buick V8 is visible but its size and originality can't be judged.
- Full lift underside set: black-coated floors, headers and dual exhaust, all looking fresh.
Money: at $31,400 the underside and presentation support a good driver — the GS premium waits on the VIN and a closer look at the engine.

Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 27th year in the classic and muscle car business. Buick, one of General Motors premium divisions, was known for their low-key luxury and conservative styling that earned them the moniker "doctors' cars". When Buick decided that they needed a car to compete with Pontiac's GTO, they chose the Skylark intermediate for their Gran Sport option in 1965. By 1968 the Gran Sport had become a separate series and the resulting automobiles are some of the most understated, yet potent, muscle cars from the era. This sweet 1972 Buick GS 350 is an outstanding example of these restrained but rapid rides. Beneath the functional twin scooped hood is the Buick 350 V8, a torque-rich engine that delivers seamless power.

I have almost an entire 1972 Buick Skylark, some assembly required. Pretty much is just missing a wiring harness, belts, and a battery. Turned out to be more work than my skill level.amount of free time could accommodate. Most all body panels are very sold. Frame exquisitely solid and is why I bought it in the first place. Engine rebuilt under previous ownership then sat in a garage for 20 years before I purchased it. Please note it will come in the pieces seen and when shipping/picking it up please keep this in mind. Fire away with any and all questions you have.
