I have almost an entire 1972 Buick Skylark, some assembly required. Pretty much is just missing a wiring harness, belts, and a battery. Turned out to be more work than my skill level.amount of free time could accommodate. Most all body panels are very sold. Frame exquisitely solid and is why I bought it in the first place. Engine rebuilt under previous ownership then sat in a garage for 20 years before I purchased it. Please note it will come in the pieces seen and when shipping/picking it up please keep this in mind. Fire away with any and all questions you have. |

About this car
1972 Buick Skylark listed on eBay in Wake Forest, North Carolina. Listing shows 85,239 miles, Automatic transmission, Multicolor exterior. Current bid $100 on eBay.
What the photos show
- A full project: '72 Skylark hardtop in grey primer with the entire front clip removed — fenders, hood, grille and bumper are photographed lying on the driveway beside the car.
- The red Buick V8 sits installed in the open bay with no air cleaner and exposed wiring; whether it runs can't be judged, and the firewall and inner structure show surface rust.
- Interior is gutted: seats and rear trim are out, and the final frame shows the bare floor pans with surface rust and loose wiring — pan integrity needs a prod in person, not a photo verdict.
- The odometer photo reads 85,239.
- Documentation is photographed: the Fisher body tag reads ST72 44437 — a Skylark Custom hardtop — and a dash VIN is also shown; removed parts including the radiator, exhaust and trim are laid out in the photos, so check the parts inventory against the car before bidding.
- Underside is never photographed in the 16 viewed.
Money: at $100 this is an auction starting point for a dismantled project — bid parts-and-shell value only, and only after confirming every photographed loose panel and part is actually included.

Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 27th year in the classic and muscle car business. Buick, one of General Motors premium divisions, was known for their low-key luxury and conservative styling that earned them the moniker "doctors' cars". When Buick decided that they needed a car to compete with Pontiac's GTO, they chose the Skylark intermediate for their Gran Sport option in 1965. By 1968 the Gran Sport had become a separate series and the resulting automobiles are some of the most understated, yet potent, muscle cars from the era. This sweet 1972 Buick GS 350 is an outstanding example of these restrained but rapid rides. Beneath the functional twin scooped hood is the Buick 350 V8, a torque-rich engine that delivers seamless power.
